Learn the math: Multiplicative Comparison & Inverse Relationships

A multiplicative comparison describes one amount as a factor times another. An unknown factor can be found using division.

A worked example

If one mech has power 6 and another has 4 times as much, its power is 24. If powers are 6 and 24, the multiplier is 24 ÷ 6 = 4.

Keep in mind while you play

Four times as many means multiply by four, not add four.
